This choice offering is over ¾ Cattleya bicolor, which is very evident in both the blooms and growth habit. Glowing chartreuse blooms contrast with the bold red lip. Originally from Lenette’s Greenhouses, this has been used in several proven hybrids plus we have new ones in the works. The award was given to a plant owned by Jones & Scully, way back in 1980:

"One spike with two flowers of extraordinary substance, excellent size for parentage; deep chartreuse sepals and petals randomly marked with a few tiny reddish brown spots; dark red frontal portion of lip edged with chartreuse, light rose side lobes and column."
